Our Story

Owned by local Raleigh Resident, Rock Bonawitz, Southern Attitude has been a staple in Smithfield since January 2016.  We offer a variety of t-shirts and apparel, gifts, and Personalized creations that are sure to fit the needs of a wide variety of people.    

The year 2020 brought on a lot of changes for us as we experienced COVID-19 complete with a shutdown of our storefront for almost 2 months.  When our doors re-opened in May, we saw a change in management with our Personalization Expert, Kelsey Nichols, taking over the day-to-day operations and we hit the ground running with new goals and lots of local support.  Shortly after reopening, we realized that we were outgrowing our original location and began discussing the possibility of expansion.  In November of 2020, despite the craziness of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we were able to expand our store to better serve our customers.

Our store thrived for 3 years in Suite 610 before moving (yet again) down the sidewalk to Suite 520 in Jan. of 2024. 

 
We are excited for what's to come in 2025 and look forward to bringing quality products to our customers!
